This program supports the demonstration of technologies that reduce or replace water consumption in concentrated solar power plants.
Activities supported
This program supports the demonstration of technologies that are near commercialization. The technologies would be demonstrated in a region with very good solar resource values (normal irradiation >2000 kWh/m3).
Requirements
The applicant must be a consortium of at least 3 different unrelated legal entities in 3 different Horizon 2020 affiliated countries.
Financing
The Commission considers that proposals requesting a contribution from the EU of between EUR 10 and 12 million would allow this area to be addressed appropriately. Nonetheless, this does not preclude submission and selection of proposals requesting other amounts. Funding rate is 70% for profit seeking organizations and 100% for nonprofits.
