NMBP-05-2017: Advanced materials and innovative design for improved functionality and aesthetics in high added value consumer goods

This program supports the application of advanced materials in the creative sector to produce better consumer goods. 

Activities supported 

This program supports the creation of consumer goods prototypes incorporating advanced (e.g. superhydrophobic, self-cleaning, biomimetic, shape changing) materials. 

Requirements 

The applicant must be a consortium of at least 3 different unrelated legal entities in 3 different Horizon 2020 affiliated countries.  

Financing  

The Commission considers that proposals requesting a contribution from the EU of between EUR 5 and 7 million would allow this area to be addressed appropriately. Nonetheless, this does not preclude submission and selection of proposals requesting other amounts. Funding rate is 70% for profit seeking organizations and 100% for non-profits.
