NMBP-05-2017: Advanced materials and innovative design for improved functionality and aesthetics in high added value consumer goods

This program supports the application of advanced materials in the creative sector to produce better consumer goods.

Activities supported

This program supports the creation of consumer goods prototypes incorporating advanced (e.g. superhydrophobic, self-cleaning, biomimetic, shape changing) materials.

The applicant must be a consortium of at least 3 different unrelated legal entities in 3 different Horizon 2020 affiliated countries.

The Commission considers that proposals requesting a contribution from the EU of between EUR 5 and 7 million would allow this area to be addressed appropriately. Nonetheless, this does not preclude submission and selection of proposals requesting other amounts. Funding rate is 70% for profit seeking organizations and 100% for non-profits.

Upcoming calls

This program will have 1 more call on 2016 October 27 which has a budget of 114,19 million euros that is shared with 8 other research programs.
